Rootling Theatre

A new puppetry company based in Norfolk, Rootling Theatre creates family entertainment that dives into mythic and fantastical stories from the past, creating something new and exciting from our shared heritage.

Whilst this website is still largely under construction, you can find information about us and our first show, 'Lost Worlds,' which debuted as part of Open Art Folke in Folkestone below.

Lost Worlds

Lost Worlds are two puppetry performances for a single audience member at a time. Each lasting 3 minutes, our solo audience members are transported to a prehistoric world and a mysterious world under the sea. The performances are contained in two crates which our audiences, one by one, look into. Audiences wear a pair of headphones to experience the rich soundtrack of both of these worlds.
